Ramen Stop with the Boke Burger Bite!

Boke Bowl

5 🍜🍜🍜🍜🍜 out of 5!

Well Portland Burger week is already in full swing and have all probably gained a few pounds from all the $5 burgers available, but that being said there is always room for one more.

For today’s burger treat we went to somewhere you don’t usually think of when you are craving a juicy burger. We went to Boke Bowl one of Portland’s most delicious ramen shops! Now we are already a huge fan of Boke Bowl for their deliciously flavorful broths, hearty noodles, and especially their fried chicken add which all comes together to a perfect bowl of ramen. Not to mention the bright and cozy atmosphere of their communal dining hall. So when we noticed they had thrown their chefs in the burger week ring, we had to see what they had to offer.

They did not disappoint.

Revealing the Boke Burger! Now this burger may not look anything to special from first glance, but trust us. It is definitely worth a taste. The double stack of burger patties and cheddar are fine enough but what really sets this burger apart is the lightly spicy gochujang sauce which gives the meat a Korean bbq inspired flavor that melds perfectly with every bite but is stops short of overwhelming the burger thanks to Boke Bowl’s special in house made pickled cucumbers and sweet onions underneath with balance out the spicy and sweet all together to make for a perfect burger.

At only $5 for burger week we even felt the need to splurge a bit and get some house Sake to go with it. We must say there is nothing quite like a crisp glass of sake and a really inspired burger on a sunny afternoon.

All things considered the Boke Burger gets five 🍜 🍜🍜🍜🍜 out of five and we recommend coming to try this before burger week ends or try some of their true specialty, because ramen always sounds delicious.
